One of the first steps to acquiring success and happiness is simply taking care of yourself. Mentally and physically. For starters let's think about what it is you consume on a regular basis. Artificial food, sugars, food coloring and carbohydrates that don't digest well, cause weight gain, fatigue, stress, low blood pressure etc. Now let's try and CUT all of that out! You can start slow, but make it a goal to eliminate all those bad toxins in the food you're consuming. One important thing to continuously remind yourself when going through a physical life change is that the human body is your temple. It's the one and only place you and only you have to live (literally.) Let's start with becoming self aware that you need a life change, then write your goals down on a regular piece of paper. This helps validate what it is you're trying to do, let's you see it at a glance and reminds you everyday what's important. (Vision boards are also highly recommended because they're proven to be very effective.) This can also fall into the category of Self-Awareness. Every success and any person with extreme added value to this world started with maintaining self discipline and wrote their goals down. 62% of the rich agree on this, while only 6% of the poor agree. You can see the dramatic difference. Creating an exercise regiment and routine will then become habitual and create mounds and mounds of success naturally over time. Wealthy people value their health. So let's start today with boosting your digestive track system by what you consume. Drink 4-10 cups of water daily and learn to LOVE it! (Water is 60% of our bodies!) Eat your vegetables and fruits with pure happiness. In order to help others in life, we have to consider our own lifestyle first. That's why on an airplane, we're told to put the mask on ourselves before we help our children. You cannot help someone progress through life in a sincere way, without first doing what it is we are suggesting. That starts with being honest and true to yourself and others around you. Honesty is a key element to life. Once you have accepted that you will start to "live." So live honestly, proceed with care, caution and self awareness. Take time to love your body inside and out for time doesn't last forever. Make time to love the ones around you but keep in mind, in order to live a longer happier life we must start living in a healthier way. So what are you going to do differently today to have a better tomorrow and life? What are your goals? Write them down! I cannot emphasize this enough! I made the most refreshing water with Peaches and Cucumbers. It was delightful! Your body is your temple. The best way to always remember to take care of it, is to use Warren Buffett's story of the genie who came to him at age 16 and offered him the car of his dreams, but the catch was that it would also be the last car Buffett could ever own. The car would have to last a lifetime, and to make sure that happened, he said "I would read the manual about 5 times. I would always keep it garaged. If there was the least little dent or scratch, I'd have it fixed right away because I wouldn't want it rusting. I would baby that car, because it would have to last a lifetime. That's exactly the position you are in concerning your mind and body. You only get one mind and one body. And it has to last a lifetime. Now it's very easy to let them ride for many years. But if you don't take care of that mind and that body, they'll be a wreck 40 years later, just like the car would be. It's what you do right now, today, that determines how your mind and body will operate 10, 20 and 30 years from now."

Zumba Aficionado'
I love my Zumba! I can't get enough of it! Zumba is so exciting and fun. When I first tried this (At home with the Kinect) I discovered how "off" beat I was and honestly I gave up after 2 weeks. I am a busy Mom of 1 very energetic little boy, so I let it become more of a normalcy to put off a few important tasks in the morning such as working out. A week went by and my Son shouted "Let's do your Zumba Mama!" Instantaneously I was getting dressed to workout. Just by those 5 little words. Not only because he verbally motivated me, but I had this epiphany while looking at him, that's when I realized "Yeah! Of course we have to do our Zumba!" I have to stay healthy at all times for this little boy. He loves it and he dances around me the whole time excited. He'll hand me my water in between songs, and tell me to keep going when I feel like giving up. If that isn't enough for you as a parent I don't know what is! I want to live the longest life possible for him. In order to do that, I have to take care of myself. So why not do it while doing something you and your little one loves :) Not only that but when your child sees you eating well and watches you exercise, it locks into their subconscious mind for the future.
